Adinkra Kindergarden is a pre-school proposal for the competition "Timeabu Kindergarten" (Ghana), organized by Madanfo Project and Radefoundation. The competition aims to create a place where the youngest children of Timeabu can take classes.
The name Adinkra comes from the traditional symbols of our home, Ghana. With them, we represent different concepts and elements from our life. They are normally used as an ornament on clothes, textiles or even in architecture.

One of these symbols is “NEA ONNIM NO SUA A, OHU” that means “who does not know, can know from learning”. It is a symbol that represents knowledge, life-long education and continued quest for knowledge. This is the philosophy of Adinkra Kindergarden!

Adinkra kindergarden is designed following four concepts related with Timeabu village and the ghanaian tradition.
